Yeah! The story's been in development for something like a decade. I will be acquiring those books as soon as possible. Now I'm intrigued, thanks for the heads up. Brandon Sanderson is involved with Infinity Blade? I'd played the first game and enjoyed the combat but didn't see how it could have much in the way of interesting lore. Wait wait wait whoah hold on there a gosh darned second. Or just shell out the $2.99 for them because Brandon Sanderson is great. If you want details/me to loan you the books let me know or something. I'm not sure where the third game will begin (the first book ended with Siris killing Saydhi, which was the opening of IB2) but it gives Radriar's entire backstory and unravels a ton of questions.
Whereas what you got from the first book was mostly explanations as to who Isa and TEL are, there's a lot more in the second one that feels Important. The first book felt somewhat optional in a way that the second book feels absolutely required. It kind of reminded me of the storytelling in Dark Souls where you can piece together the lore of the world based on the items you find/buy It takes a long amount of post game stuff to get to the special areas but I really enjoyed getting there. Oh as an edit, I have not read either of the books but I played Infinity Blade II a bunch and got surprisingly into the story. One of the few games that I don't think could be done on anything other than a touchscreen. Infinity Blade is real good, Infinity Blade II is awesome, and I'm super pumped for the third one. Getting Brandon Sanderson to write the story for this franchise and alternating the storytelling format game-book-game-book has led to what I think is maybe the most interesting setting/world in the past several years. We should get our own Clashmob group going.Īlso, I just finished the new book and the feels man, the feels.
It'd be super sweet to team up with other Hot Dog Dudes. Something about 64-bit graphics if you have the new iPhone, but who has the new iPhone? It does look great in demo videos and makes me wish more companies were willing to harness the power of the platform in the same way that Chair does. No more facebook/twitter social media crap required for the cool collaborative-multiplayer boss fight modes (which is supposedly expanded) Huge gameworld (about x8 bigger than the first game, supposedly) with a main "hub" location and various different questing areas If this is a thing you care about you should definitely look up a summary, but even that won't be the same as the slow reveals and sudden revelations afforded by doing it "properly." The the gameplay is still fundamentally Mike Tyson's Sword-Out even in the third installment. If you tried Infinity Blade and didn't like it, maybe this game is for you!ĭisclaimers: literally nothing will make sense plotwise because this is a multimedia franchise where playing prior games AND reading the books is Not Optional to understand the story. So Infinity Blade 3 is coming out in FOUR DAYS and if you're like me and actually have been following the crazy twisty-turny story over the past two games and two books, this is A Big Deal. They're calling it Soul Hunter, and it looks like the Vile Set from IB2 returns! In the ruined arena, climb the tree once it has completely grown.UserProfileMasthead. For those of you who don't know, the vile helmet is part of "old" Ausar's armor set, and is found in the infinity blade 2 … The game was the sequel to Infinity Blade by the same developers. After finishing Infinity Blade: Awakening, I could not wait to dive right into the next one! The primary items of the set are required to obtain the Holy Band in Infinity Blade II. If worn in the Shrine, it will unlock the Holy Band after the cutscene concludes. The Gem set is an equipment set found in the negative rebirths of Infinity Blade II. The item required is displayed on the front of each cell door. Hope You Enjoy ! After defeating the first Titan there, follow the right path towards the large statue, and interact with the socket on the coffin. It focuses very highly on customization using Gems. Infinity Blade II is an action role-playing video game for the iOS mobile devices developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games released through the Apple App Store.
Then you have two options: keep it, or sell it for 93000+ gold. It can be obtained randomly when using any prize wheels or Large Chests. If you're a die-hard Infinity-blade fan, then you probably already know what the Vile Helmet is.
